Imtiaz AliÂs Rockstar coming in December

His earlier two films ÂJab We Met and ÂLove Aaj Kal  both musical romantic entertainers - went on to became smash hits. Now filmmaker Imtiaz Ali is all set to complete the trilogy by bringing up ÂRockstarÂ, with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.
Eros International Media Ltd, the Indian Media & Entertainment Company has inked a co-production deal with Shri Ashtavinayak Cine Vision to jointly produce the film.
The film will go on floors in May this year and is scheduled for a December release.
Commenting on the announcement, Sunil Lulla, Executive Vice Chairman & Managing Director, India - Eros International said, ÂEros and Imtiaz Ali have had a fabulous and successful working relationship in the past and we are proud to take our association to the next level with Rockstar in association with Shri Ashtavinayak. It is equally exciting to work again with the very talented Ranbir Kapoor after a fabulous experience during our first film with him, Anjana Anjanee, releasing this July.Â
However, the filmmaker is yet to finalize the filmÂs leading lady.
